Premier Health and Wright State University have partnered to create an academy for Wright State nursing students. This is an exciting opportunity for students to pursue their aspiration to become a Registered Nurse, to receive an education from an excellent nursing school, to be exposed to a real-life nursing community at Premier Health and to graduate without the typical college debt.

Program Benefits

  • Students in the Wright State Nursing Academy are eligible for up to $5,250 annually in tuition assistance from Premier Health.
  • When combined with Wright State University’s merit and need-based scholarship programs along with federal and state financial aid, earning a degree in nursing becomes even more affordable.
  • Participants will gain hands-on experience to help them be practice-ready upon graduation.
  • Participants will have access to full-time employment at Premier Health after graduation.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Participants are required to accept part-time employment at Premier Health and be a full-time Wright State nursing student (12 credit hours minimum per semester)
  • Participants must be willing to participate in the nursing training program.
  • Participants must qualify for in-state tuition.
