Premier Health Wright State University Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Academy

Premier Health and Wright State University have partnered to create an academy for Wright State students to continue their education in the field of nursing. This is an exciting opportunity for students to pursue their aspirations to become an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), to make connections within the community at Premier Health, and to offset costs associated with graduate school.

Program Benefits

  • Students in the Wright State APRN Academy are eligible for up to $10,000 annually in tuition assistance from Premier Health.
  • The courses in Wright State’s Nurse Practitioner programs are fully online, only requiring a few in-person meetings per semester.
  • Scheduling flexibility for clinical rotations and work hours.
  • Participants will have priority access to full-time employment at Premier Health after graduation with a 1-year service requirement.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Participants are required to accept part-time employment at Premier Health and be a full-time Wright State graduate student (six credit hours minimum per semester).
  • Participants must be enrolled full time (six credit hours) in Wright State’s Master of Science in Nursing program with a concentration in either Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • Participants must qualify for in-state tuition.
