Higher Learning Commission (HLC)

All programs at Wright State University are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Additionally, programs offered in the College of Health, Education, and Human Services have special accreditations that specifically address standards unique to the given field.
 

Program Accreditation

CACREP

CACREP is a recognized accrediting agency by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and holds full membership status with the Association of specialized and Professional Accreditors (ASPA) and the International Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).

National accreditation has been conferred on the Clinical Mental Health Counseling (M.S.), School Counseling (M.Ed.), Rehabilitation Counseling (M.R.C.) and Addiction Counseling (M.R.C) until October 31, 2022 by the CACREP

CORE (Council on Rehabilitation Education)

CORE (Council on Rehabilitation Education) is a specialized accreditation organization that is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation for rehabilitation counseling training programs and standards review process.
