Whether you’re an incoming freshman, a senior about to graduate with your college degree, or a new transfer student, your Wright State academic advisor will help you define and achieve your academic goals. Academic advisors will:
Centralized advising at Wright State helps you move smoothly into a degree program that fits your interests while pairing you with advisors who understand your potential career path and help you stay on track for graduation.
Graduate-level students work with their assigned faculty advisor to establish a graduate degree program of study (M.Ed., M.R.C., M.S., etc.).

Regular advising appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes for continuing students. One-hour appointments are available for new students.
During peak advising times (i.e. registration for classes, graduation, etc.) appointment times will fill quickly. Please plan ahead and schedule your appointment well in advance.
Advisors are assigned based on the student’s major. Advisor assignments were updated on 6/7/2022. Students admitted to Wright State prior to this date should check their advisor assignment on the Student Information page in WINGS Express. Students admitted to Wright State on or after this date will be assigned to an advisor based on the following breakdown:
